Abstract
This study presents a comparative linguistic analysis of the concept of spirituality in English and Uzbek, focusing on semantic structure, lexical realization, and cultural connotations. The research examines how spirituality is encoded in each language through core vocabulary, metaphorical expressions, and discourse usage. In English, spirituality often appears as an individual-centered, abstract notion associated with personal growth, inner experience, and non-institutional belief systems. In Uzbek, corresponding concepts are frequently linked to moral refinement, inner purity, and collective cultural values shaped by historical, religious, and social traditions. The study employs semantic field analysis, componential analysis, and contextual interpretation of selected texts to identify similarities and divergences in meaning construction.
