Abstract
Annotation: This article studies the effect of the wavelength of the radiation spectrum on the drying speed and heat distribution during the drying of cotton raw materials using infrared radiation. The kinetics of cotton moisture reduction and energy consumption for short, medium and long wavelength ranges of infrared radiation were experimentally compared. The results of the study showed that medium-wave infrared radiation provides high efficiency in the drying process of cotton, allows for uniform moisture reduction and energy saving. The conclusions obtained are of scientific and practical importance for the optimization and application of infrared drying technologies in industrial conditions.
