Abstract

Abstract: Subdural hydromas are accumulations of cerebrospinal fluid in the subdural space, resulting from rupture of the arachnoid membrane or due to disturbances in cerebrospinal fluid dynamics. In recent years, the relevance of studying hydromas has increased against the background of an increase in the frequency of traumatic brain injuries and the development of neuroimaging technologies. The purpose of the article is to review current data on the pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, diagnostic criteria and treatment tactics for subdural hydromas.
