Abstract
Abstract. This article analyzes the role and significance of innovative pedagogical methods in developing communicative competence in the Uzbek language among economics students studying in Russian-medium groups. In particular, it highlights the use of the communicative approach, project-based learning, interactive methods, gamification, information and communication technologies, and professionally oriented tasks. The research findings indicate that innovative methods contribute to increasing students’ speech activity, developing their independent thinking skills, and fostering their ability to communicate fluently in Uzbek.
