Abstract
Abstract: This article analyzes the historical roots of ideological education and modern pedagogical development trends, as well as its current state in the modern education system. Also, the pedagogical mechanisms for the formation of ideological competence are scientifically substantiated on the basis of global and national approaches. New trends in ideological education in the context of digital transformation are also highlighted.
