Abstract
Abstract: This article examines the isomorphic and allomorphic features of English and Uzbek phraseological units from a comparative linguistic perspective. The study analyzes the semantic, structural, and linguocultural characteristics of phraseological expressions and identifies both similarities and differences between the two languages. Since phraseological units reflect the historical experience, worldview, and cultural identity of a nation, their comparative study plays an important role in understanding linguistic and cultural relations. The article also discusses the formation, usage, and translation of phraseological units in English and Uzbek. Through various examples, the research highlights universal semantic patterns as well as language-specific features shaped by national culture and linguistic structure.
