Abstract: The integration of artificial intelligence into language education has transformed traditional teaching paradigms, yet the preservation of a supportive and emotionally resonant "language atmosphere" remains a critical challenge. This study explores how educators can harness AI tools while maintaining the human elements essential for effective language learning. A qualitative study involving classroom observations and semi-structured interviews with twelve language educators was conducted over two academic years. Teachers were observed across four lessons each, with follow-up interviews exploring strategies for fostering engagement, spontaneity, and emotional safety. A complementary review of current AI applications in language education provided contextual understanding. Findings indicate that successful language atmosphere creation involves three key strategies: using AI as a non-judgmental "third party" to reduce learner anxiety; intentionally incorporating "unplugged" moments of human interaction; and acting as "atmosphere curators" who select technology based on students' emotional and cultural needs. Teachers emphasized that AI functions best as a catalyst for deeper human connection rather than as a replacement for teacher-student interaction. The future of language atmosphere lies in a balanced ecosystem where AI manages structured practice, allowing educators to focus on relationship-building, inspiration, and nurturing authentic communication. Ethical considerations, including data privacy and algorithmic bias, must be addressed to ensure responsible integration.
