Abstract
Abstract: This article examines the morphological and semantic features of therapeutic medical terms in Latin and French. Medical terminology is an important component of the scientific language and is characterized by a high degree of systematization and international usage. Most medical terms originate from Latin and Ancient Greek elements, which are widely used in various European languages. The study analyzes word-formation models, morphological structure, and functional characteristics of therapeutic terms. Their equivalents in Russian and Uzbek languages are also considered. The results of the study show that Latin continues to play a key role in the formation of international medical terminology, while French adapts and disseminates these terms in modern scientific and clinical practice.
