Abstract
Abstract: This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the socio-economic transformations in the Kasbi district of the Kashkadarya region from the onset of Uzbekistan’s independence in 1991 to the present day. The research examines the transition from a centralized planned economy to a market-oriented agricultural and industrial model. Key areas of focus include land reforms, the evolution of the cluster system in agriculture, the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and the modernization of social infrastructure, including education and healthcare. Furthermore, the article highlights the impact of state programs such as "Obod Qishloq" (Prosperous Village) on the living standards of the local population and the preservation of cultural heritage in the region.
