Abstract
Abstract: Vocabulary is the fundamental building block of language proficiency. However, many students face significant difficulties in retaining and using new lexical items. This thesis explores the primary causes of vocabulary learning obstacles—such as rote memorization and lack of context—and proposes a multifaceted approach involving contextual learning, gamification, and spaced repetition to enhance lexical competence.
